Portfolio and asset allocation

A portfolio is the set of your investments; asset allocation is how your capital is split between shares, bonds, cash and other instruments.

Studies show that much of the long-term result depends on asset allocation itself, more than on picking individual stocks. The right split depends on your goals, your time horizon and how well you tolerate fluctuations.

💡 On Fanta-Trade you get €100,000.00 in virtual money to split as you like, and the portfolio page shows the breakdown by asset class.
